Prime hydration drink woes continues as the company now faces yet another class action lawsuit regarding its product contents. In another round of class action lawsuit against prime energy drink, the company finds itself in yet another course collision with the law.  This time, the company is faced with a prime lawsuit forever chemicals filed by Elizabeth Castilo through the Milberg Law firm. 

In her class action lawsuit, Elizabeth who is a resident of California claims that prime hydration contains higher levels of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. The plaintiff argues that levels of the aforementioned substances found in the drinks exceed the EPA permitted levels in drinks.

The plaintiff further adds that the drink maker used deceptive marketing by failing to disclose the high presence of PFAS in their drinks.

The summary of the plaintiff’s claims include, false advertising, misrepresentation, consumer protection laws violation and potential personal injury occurring from health effects. The plaintiff argues that the potential of these damages warrant a compensation to the people who have already bought the prime energy drink. 

The Plaintiff Compensation Demands

The Founders Response
